Our story…

Helen, Clive & Ed would like to welcome you to Sweetpea and The Sweetpea Kitchen…

Sweetpea has been part of our family for 20 years since 2003. The Jackson-Wilding family grew alongside the business, with daughter Abi and son Ed earning their pocket money by doing dishes or helping out at events. Even grandparents Mac and Faye pitched in, often delivering business lunches nearly every day.

Initially working from home, we moved to our first kitchen unit in 2012, located on Bowden Hill, Lacock. Though scenic, icy or snowy weather made it challenging, especially for Ed who cycled uphill to work. There, we catered weddings, school lunches, and business events with highlights like providing food for TV shows like Agatha Raisin and an international kayaking festival on the Thames.

Back in 2018, we took the plunge and moved into Hartham Park, mainly serving the on-site members. By 2021, we decided it was time for something new and opened the café. Fast forward to 2024, we made a home in Bradford on Avon and debuted The Sweetpea Kitchen at the Weaving Shed!
